How to Make a Ladybug Paper Craft
Step 1
Select red craft paper for the wings and hearts. Use dark gray for the round shape, and black for the body and antennae.
Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out neatly.
Step 2
Use a black Sharpie or gel pen to draw black dots OR small heart shapes on the wing cutouts.
Step 3
Attach the round shape in the middle of the ladybug’s body (the large black part).
Step 4
Attach the small heart cutouts at the ends of the antennae pieces (small black strips).
Step 5
Attach the antennae pieces underneath the top of the ladybug’s head.
Step 6
Take one of the wing cutouts and place it on the ladybug’s body, just below the head (see picture below).
Step 7
Place the other wing beside it, slightly overlapping the pointy ends near the top.
Step 8
Attach the wing cutouts to the body with a brad. Now you can easily move the wings!
If you like, you can write a message on the center round shape with a white gel pen. Close the wings to cover the message.
