When you began homeschooling, you had a dream.
You dreamed of raising children who loved learning. You imagined meaningful conversations around the table, books that became lifelong favorites, and memories that would last long after the school books were put away.
Then real life happened.
Laundry, meal prep, and the everyday responsibilities of caring for a family competed for your time and attention. Some days, homeschooling felt like just one more thing to check off the list before falling into bed exhausted.
Before long, it became easy to lose sight of the meaningful homeschool you had dreamed of creating.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
I’ve been there, too.
Over the years, though, I’ve learned that meaningful homeschooling isn’t about doing more. It isn’t about creating elaborate lessons or checking every box.
It’s about holding on to what matters most.
It’s about learning together, asking questions, and having deep conversations.
It’s about discovering the stories behind what you’re learning and making connections that your children will remember long after the lesson is over.
That’s the homeschool I want for my family.
And it’s the homeschool I hope to help you create, too.
Hi, I’m Judy, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a Christian homeschool mom to eight amazing kids. Our family has been homeschooling in rural Pennsylvania for more than twenty-two years, and we’ve had the joy of graduating six of our children.
Today, four of our adult children are married, and we also have five wonderful grandchildren—all of whom are being homeschooled, too.
Here at Meaningful Homeschooling, I want to help you hold on to the homeschool you dreamed of creating.
I’ll be here with easy-to-use resources, honest curriculum reviews, and practical encouragement to support you along the way.
