Fun Addition Coloring Pages
Looking for a fun way to practice simple addition facts? These addition coloring pages are the perfect way for younger students to increase their math fluency (but don’t worry, older kids love them, too!).
I still remember the frustration of practicing addition with flash cards in elementary school. It was boring, and I HATED it.
But today I have good news for you . . .
Learning the basic addition facts doesn’t have to be boring. You can forget about those repetitive flash cards and use some fun math coloring sheets for extra practice instead.
From first grade students and up, kids of all ages will enjoy completing color by number pages as they practice math facts. Coloring really does make math fun!
These addition coloring page worksheets are a great activity for homeschool students, but math teachers also love them for morning work, math centers, early finishers, or independent work.
Printable Color by Number Addition Pages
In these spring-themed color by number worksheets, kids will solve basic addition problems within 20 (single digit numbers as addends). Then they will follow the color key at the top of the page to color the picture.
The set includes 8 different color by code printables, with one page each adding 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Use the worksheets for review or extra practice of specific facts that students may be struggling with.
Each color by number addition worksheet can be printed in either color or black and white, and a full-size answer key is included for each page. (Answer keys shown below.)

Printable Addition Mystery Pictures
If you need a bigger addition challenge, you may want to try these addition mystery pictures. Instead of a typical color by number page, these hidden picture addition worksheets have a grid of 100 squares to color.
Kids will be motivated to solve the problems so they can color each square the right color and see the picture emerge.
If 100 problems seems like too much for younger students, you can divide the grid into 2 or more sections so it is less overwhelming.
Each set of mystery picture worksheets (spring, summer, fall, and winter) includes 9 mystery pictures, with one page each for adding 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
You can choose whether to print in color or black and white. Answer keys are included (see below).
