Why I Recommend Mr. D Math Geometry
While I loved Algebra I and Algebra II in high school—and still enjoy helping my kids with it—I was never enamored with geometry.
Thankfully I had an excellent high school math teacher that made geometry understandable. And that’s exactly what I want for my kids, too.
My solution: Mr. D Math Geometry.
Convenient Self-Paced Classes
Mr. D Math self-paced classes are a great fit for busy homeschool families. I love that we don’t have to work our schedule around a live geometry class. (If you’ve done that before, you know how stressful it can be!)
Instead, my kids can watch the lessons on their own schedules. If one of them is scheduled to work in the afternoon, they can watch the lesson earlier in the day or after dinner that evening.
This kind of flexibility is the key to actually getting the work DONE.
Solid Instruction from an Experienced Teacher
I love that my kids can learn geometry from Mr. D, a teacher who truly understands the subject.
Sure, I could dig out a textbook and brush up on my long-forgotten high school geometry. But I know my kids are better served by learning from an enthusiastic teacher who knows the subject inside and out.
Huge Timesaver for Busy Homeschool Parents
The best part about Mr. D Math Geometry is that I don’t have to teach it myself. Not only do my kids benefit from having an experienced teacher, but I also gain some valuable time to work with the younger kids.
(Hey, I may even get a chance to throw in a load of laundry or empty the dishwasher. That’s a huge win in our busy household!)
