Live Online Math Classes for Grades 6-12
Give your student a classroom learning experience with these live online math classes for grades 6-12 from Mrs. Peters’ Math!

Over the last 20+ years of homeschooling, I’ve learned that outsourcing some of the teaching is a lifesaver for a busy homeschool mom. I especially love having someone else teach math and writing for me.
I recently discovered a “new-to-us” online math course that has really impressed me. If you’re looking for help with homeschool math, you’ll definitely want to consider Mrs. Peters’ Math.
I received this product for free and was compensated for my time. All thoughts and opinions are my own; I was not required to post a positive review.
Live Online Math Classes with Mrs. Peters’ Math
Mrs. Peters’ Math offers full-year online math classes for homeschool students in grades 6-12. The instructor, Mrs. Peters, is a homeschool mom who has taught math for over 25 years in a variety of settings: co-ops, public school, private school, homeschool, tutoring, and more. She knows her stuff, y’all!
Classes meet for three one-hour online sessions each week, where Mrs. Peters teaches live and interacts with the students just like a teacher would do in a real classroom. The classes are also recorded in case a student has to miss a live session.
Digital Whiteboard
Mrs. Peters teaches the lessons on a digital whiteboard, where students can watch her work through examples one step at a time. This is just like watching a teacher work through problems on the board in a classroom. Extremely valuable for visual learners!
Guided Notes
Students follow along with examples during each lesson and fill out the printable notes that Mrs. Peters provides. This gives them a quick reference for completing their homework later, while also providing deeper learning during the lesson.
Class Interaction
During the class, students can ask questions or give answers through the chat box (see left of screenshot below). Mrs. Peters does a truly excellent job of interacting with the students: answering questions, providing extra examples, and giving students opportunities to share their answers to specific problems.
Homework Assignments
Mrs. Peters’ Math classes include homework assignments with every lesson—but these are NOT the boring worksheets that you would expect.
Instead, students complete online activities that are so fun and engaging that they really don’t feel like homework at all. Don’t be surprised if math suddenly becomes your child’s favorite subject! Yes, really!
The homework activity below started out with a hidden image that was gradually revealed as the correct answers were typed into each box.
Other fun homework activities from Mrs. Peters’ Math include mazes, mysteries, guess the word, joke generators, escape rooms, and more.
I love that the math activities are self-correcting and immediately show if the answer is right or wrong. This ensures proper understanding of new concepts, rather than accidentally reinforcing wrong methods.
After students submit the link to their finished activity, the grade is automatically recorded. This part makes me so happy—no more time spent grading papers!!
Why We Love Mrs. Peters’ Math
Includes everything you need
Mrs. Peters’ Math includes everything you need for an entire year of math: live video teaching, supplementary online textbook, printable materials, tests, grading, and more.
You can completely take math off your plate and let Mrs. Peters do it all. NO teaching, NO grading, NO brushing up on high school math at midnight. It’s truly like a load has been lifted off your shoulders.
Flexibility
As a homeschool mom herself, Mrs. Peters truly values flexibility. That’s why she has built in longer due dates for classwork. All homework assignments are due 10 days after the live class to make room for sickness, internet outages, or family plans.
In addition, every live class is recorded so students (and parents!) are not tied to a rigid schedule or forced to miss classes due to emergencies.
Extra teacher support
I love, love, LOVE that Mrs. Peters is available to help students when they get stuck! I know I’m not the only one whose math skills have gotten a little rusty over the years…and with Mrs. Peters’ Math, I don’t have to worry about figuring things out on the fly.
Classroom-style environment
I’m fully convinced that homeschooling is the best way for kids to learn. But that doesn’t have to mean just sitting on the couch learning from Mom all day!
Many kids enjoy interacting with a teacher and a group of students. And beyond the social aspect, having experience with a classroom-type setting can also help with adapting to classroom learning in college or dual-credit classes.
