Kiwi Crate: Craft Subscription for Kids
Time. It’s the single biggest challenge I face as a homeschool mom.
I am a stickler for covering the core subjects every day and being sure that we meet our state’s requirements each year. But no matter how much I try, it’s just plain hard to find time to fit in the homeschool “extras.”
My youngest children are the ones who miss out on the most. Sure, we work hard on math and phonics each day, but there’s rarely time left for me to come up with the creative hands-on projects that they enjoy so much.
I received this product for free and was compensated for my time. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not required to post a positive review. See our Disclosure Policy for more information.
Weston was absolutely thrilled to receive a special package in the mailbox . . . a box full of fun and learning from Kiwi Crate!
What’s in a Kiwi Crate?
Each Kiwi Crate contains everything you need to complete 2-3 fun learning activities with your child. Designed for ages 3-8, each box contains a variety of crafts, science activities, or games that will capture your child’s interest.
And EVERYTHING is included:
- Complete instructions with illustrations
- All the supplies you’ll need for the activities (literally every single thing!)
- Ideas for additional learning
Each month Kiwi Crate offers a new themed box. Weston received the Wonders of Water crate–and it was packed full of fun activities!
Weston couldn’t wait to get started. His first project was coloring sea creatures with markers and then spraying them with water to see what happens to the colors. Such a fantastic homeschool project!
He also made an awesome sailboat and learned how sails and rudders help boats turn in the water. Art and science combined!
What We Love About Kiwi Crate
1. Everything is included in the box.
I can’t even begin to express how much I love having everything included and delivered to my mailbox. And when I say everything, I truly mean it–right down to the little plastic cup we needed for one of the water activities.
2. Materials are high-quality.
I am so impressed with the quality of the supplies in our Kiwi Crate. One of the items included was a spray bottle, and it was clearly designed to hold up to plenty of vigorous use by eager little hands.
3. Projects are age-appropriate.
Every one of the projects included in our crate was perfectly tailored to my six-year-old’s abilities. That in itself is a huge bonus–it can be incredibly time-consuming to find activities that are appropriate for just the right age.
4. The activities are excellent for homeschool learning.
We focus primarily on math and phonics in the early years, and the art and science activities included in the Wonders of Water crate made a fabulous addition to our core subjects.
